John Milton – Comus

On September 28, 1634 John Milton’s drama, Comus, was performed at Ludlow Castle, as a presentation before John, Earl of Bridgewater, President of Wales. In 1922 Comus was illustrated by Arthur Rackham. Here is a presentation of Arthur Rackham’s old book illustrations to Comus set to the music of Antonio Vivaldi – Inverno I. Allegro non molto.
